Photography/Filming in the Park
Those who wish to conduct photography or filming within the park must first apply for photography/filming permission.
Please check the Photography/Filming Permission Form and the Terms and Conditions before proceeding.
Suizenji Jо̄juen is an extremely valuable cultural property which has been designated as a Historic Site and a Place of Scenic Beauty.
To ensure that all of our visitors can enjoy the garden, the following types of photography and filming require prior approval.
- Filming for TV shows and movies
- Model photo shoots
- Photography for advertisments
- Commercial commemorative photography, including pre-wedding shoots
As these types of filming may disrupt visitors, you must apply at least one week in advance. Please note that the granting of permission will generally incur a fee.
No approval is needed for visitors taking photos for personal use of the scenery or of friends and family members. In these cases, there is no need to apply in advance to Izumi Shrine.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
